We require a hole in the worktop to mount the InSinkErator switch.

The total run length is 3.7 metres. We have two reclaimed 30mm granite slabs from our previous kitchen:
1 × 2.5 metres
1 × 1.6 metres
These slabs need to be cut to size, including:
Sink cut-out (as shown in the attached image)
Tap hole
Hole for the InSinkErator switch
